Learning to drive does not end with passing your test, many people say that once you pass your test then you learn to drive. You need to be aware of the prerequisites to learning to drive, then you need to select a suitable instructor.  Before completing the practical test, you must complete the theory test, including the hazard perception test.

Your first car

Ready to buy your first car? You will need to look into getting car insurance (read our car insurance FAQ's), breakdown cover and warranties for your new car.

Once you have a car, you will want to keep an eye out for cheap petrol prices in your area, and try to get more miles per gallon too. You may want to read up on what to do if you are involved in an accident. Don't forget to take care of your car and do regular checks and maintenance.
