Congratulations! You have passed your test! So what is the next stage for you, as a new driver? You may want to take the pass plus test, to help improve your skills and potentially reduce your insurance premium.
New Drivers Act
As a result of the New Drivers Act, it is now easier to have your licence revoked. If you aquire 6 or more penalty points within two years of passing your test you will have your licence revoked. If this happens, you have to reapply for your licence and resit your driving test.
Points you aquired before your driving test also count towards this 6 point limit. So be careful.
Your first car
You will probably want to buy your first car, get some decent insurance, breakdown cover, and then get driving - making the most out of your fuel, and getting cheap petrol.
